Fitness Journey

Today I start my fitness journey, so far I have failed tremendously.  Ok maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. That being said I ate so much candy today, Iwas emotionally eating. I try to go to the gym everyday when my brother goes (Monday-Thursday) and I haven't been that bad at missing a day. If I'm recalling correctly I signed up for my gym membership again in August.  But sometimes I'm so lazy and end up staying in the car and browse on Pinterest.  At this point of my life, I feel like I need to have more willpower. Mostly because I feel like I should lead a healthier lifestyle, I have had some health issues and I do want to live a healthy life. I don't however want to be that person who is obsessed with dieting or I don't want to create a self hate feeling towards my body.  Which I have done at some point of my life.  I'm done comparing myself to others, I'm done feeling bad for myself.  So here I am 177 pound Dio! Letsss goo. (This can either go real good or real bad..there's no in between with me! )

You are not alone!


Sometimes we think we don't matter, we think what in the world am I even accomplishing? Or what new thing have I done recently. For instance I sit in my room and all these dark thoughts cloud my brain and I can't help but to feel this overwhelming sad feeling. I think loneliness does that to us once in a while or am I the only weird one here?! We focus on all the bad things we do, say or think. When in reality all the goodness in our heart is all that God sees.


I just want to leave you with this thought. We are never alone there is someone out there that believes in you and loves you no matter what. And when a big dark cloud wants to hover your head tell it to go away!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread



Hello everyone! 

Here is a really easy Banana Chocolate Chip Bread recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • ½ cup Oil 
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 cup of ripe bananas (I used two)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 bag of mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Gather all your items

½ cup Oil1 cup of Sugar and 2 eggs.

½ cup sour cream and 1 tsp vanilla

1.5 cups of flour , 1 tsp baking soda and ½ tsp salt.

2 Bananas

Chocolate Chips!!




First thing's first Preheat the oven at 350!


1. In your stand mixer or whichever bowl you’re going to be using to mix the items. Beat together sugar and oil. Add one of the eggs and beat it. Once it’s beat well, add the other egg and beat it as well.


  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • ½ cup Oil (I use pure canola oil, not sure if that makes a difference)
  • 2 whole eggs






2. Once that is done smash your bananas in a small bowl, almost leaving it like puree (leaving some small chunks).


  • 1 cup of ripe bananas (I used two)




3. After that is done mix in the banana with the sugar and oil. If you have a stand-in mixer keep it on, or if you have a hand mixer just make sure you mix all the items well allowing all the items to blend well perfectly.



    4.  Add the sour cream, vanilla and allow mixing completely.


  •   ½ cup sour cream
  •   1 tsp vanilla


5. Then slowly add flour, baking soda and salt and mix completely.


  • 1.5 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  •  ½ tsp salt









6. After all the items are mixed together begin adding the chocolate chips (add how many chocolate chips your heart desires) into the batter.




7. Grease one 1 loaf pan and pour in your mix.




8. Bake for about 45-60 minutes, or poke in a small knife or toothpick and if it comes out clean it is all ready!
